Happy February!

Join us for full moon night hike at Island Lake State Park (Brighton, Michigan). 

 

This is a 3-ish mile relaxed night hike on the Hickory Ridge trail. The event is hosted by the Friends of Island Lake and part of the trail will be lit with lanterns and a campfire at the beginning and end of the hike courtesy.  The official site for the hike is here. 

 

Details:

• Winter Night Hike at Island Lake State Park.

• Saturday February 24th at 7pm (we will depart for the hike at 7:20pm)

• Parking Lot Party: Bring a beverage to enjoy in the parking lot before and after our hike to celebrate nature and winter.

• Location

  • Island Lake State Park (6647 Kensington Rd, Brighton, MI 48116)

  • At the park, go straight past the entry booths for 1 mile to the first parking lot on the left (Hickory Ridge hiking trail).
